How We Work

We build with frontline workers.
Not for them.

Every engagement is grounded in evidence, uses simple technology that outlasts our involvement, and is built alongside the people who will use it daily.

The Model

Three phases. One principle.

01

Listen

We engage citizens who need services most, frontline workers delivering them, stakeholders, and decision-makers who set policy. Using rigorous methods including RCTs, quasi-experimental designs, qualitative fieldwork, and systematic reviews, we uncover what is happening, who is being left out, and where the system is breaking down.

02

Build Together

We co-design with frontline workers, the people who will use the tools every day. Rapid prototyping, real testing, honest feedback. We iterate until the tool fits the workflow, not the other way around. Nothing is finalised until the people doing the work have shaped it.

03

Hand Over

We build the capacity to sustain the work: frontline workers who run the tools independently, stakeholders who champion continued use, and decision-makers who embed the evidence into policy. We publish what we learn, including what did not work. Success means better services reaching the people who need them most.

Four Focus Areas

Focused scope.
Real depth.

All of our work sits within four areas where evidence gaps are large and simple data tools have the clearest potential to change outcomes. We take on one engagement at a time and go deep, rather than spreading thin.

Why we chose these areas →

Crime, Violence & Peace

How do security institutions use data to respond to crime? What do frontline officers need to make better decisions every day?

Gender

Where are the data gaps that make gender-based disparities invisible? What simple changes surface them and make them actionable?

Social Protection

How do you make sure support reaches the people who qualify? The institutions that register people and the ones that deliver support rarely connect.

Education

How do students keep learning when they cannot be in class all day? Simple, flexible tools can help them catch up on the curriculum they miss.

Does your institution have data it cannot use?

We bring evidence, simple technology, and co-creation. You bring the institution.
